Unscripted Sketches every day this month for some Christmas fun!
Welcome to one of my favorite spots in our new home...I love looking out of our bedroom window to the plants and flowers. Right outside the window{photo below}, we have potted hydrangea plants from our wedding day...from four years ago! I'm so thrilled they've lasted this long! And this is where I like to take photos of my projects...having the beautiful flowers as the background. As you can see from the photo, our cat{Clementine} loves getting her picture taken. Ü
I love spending Christmas with family and it's my favorite time of the year. My hubby's family have a tradition every Christmas...playing a few rounds of BINGO, but we shout S-A-N-T-O{since it's Christmas}! The kids look forward to competing with their uncle...see who wins the most prizes.
And now, here is a project I did for Christmas this year...
I made this mini storage file box and album for this year's photos. I used designer paper stack from last year and die cuts from Memory Box. The papers are inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
The file box measures 3 3/4 x 4 and the album is 3 x 3 3/4.
I've added a die cut using Spellbinders for some journaling.
The left side opens up to a petal card I made...gives me plenty of room for photos.
I like to embellish the pages once I have the photos.
Love this poinsettia die{on right page} from Magnolia{DooHickey Die}
Here's another die I've cut out using Spellbinders...more journaling or a small photo.
This fold out is from the paper stack...added some details{ribbon & button}.
I've included a tag for additional photo or a journaling spot.
And to finish it off, the binding is a dark brown velvet ribbon. Once the album is complete, I'll adjust the ribbon and trim off the excess.
