DT: Card Cupids Challenge~Bugaboo "cool" cards

Here's another challenge from Sunshine Mail Foundation Challenge{aka Card Cupids}.  They changed the name to Sunshine Mail in November, celebrating their second year anniversary.  Click HERE to read the post. 

So for Dec 1st challenge, the theme is "cool".   Hope you'll play along for a chance to win images our sponsor Bugaboo. 

I couldn't choose which image to use so I made two cards...

For the first card, I layered the base with design paper and from the matching die-cut mat pad.  I love the patterns and fun colors.  The soft blue and pink is one of my favorite combos for Christmas.  The sentiment is stamped with charming oval dies.  On the image, I added some liquid pearls and glitter glue on the cap. 

I love the image for my second card.  He's a cute snowman!  I added some star die cuts to match the design paper.  The sentiment is punched out using the word window punch.

DT: Card Cupids~Just Some Lines card

Hi there...Happy November 1st!  Boy, where did October go?  Hope everyone had a fun Halloween.
Today, I have another card to share from Card Cupids.  This week's challenge is "Happy Fall Y'all" and the sponsor is Fresh Brewed Designs.   I punched the border twice and layered them along the side of the card.  Then added orange ribbon trim and half back pearls.  I removed the prongs from the brads before adhering them to the card.  To finish off the monster, I added some Black Diamond Stickles.

DT: Card Cupids~Happy Autumn

Hi everyone...Happy October 1st!  I hate that time is flying by so fast.  The holidays are just around the corner and I'm so not ready.  Time to start Christmas gift lists, arrange travel arrangements for Thanksgiving...lots to do!  Yikes!  Ok, I need a break from just thinking about it...I think it's time to go to my craft room now...

Let's start this month with a challenge from Card Cupids...using "black, orange, purple, yellow, green, brown".  You can use one or any combo of these colors, it's up to you.
Here's my card...this image is from The Stamping Boutique.  She's a cutie and thought it went well with this autumn stamp.  I found this ribbon at Target in the dollar bin.  I just love the season....the leaves changing colors, the smell of cinnamon and nutmeg...gosh, I could use a pumpkin spice latte right now! LOL Ü

DT: Card Cupids~happy mail

Hi Everyone!  It's that time of the month again...and no, it's not what you think! LOL  Time for another challenge at Card Cupids.  For the next two weeks, the challenge is "Anything Goes" and our sponsor is MilkCoffee. Hope you'll visit the blog and play along...can't wait to see what you create!

For my card, I did a shaped card using dies from Lifestyle Crafts{Quickutz}.  The edge is sponged with vintage photo and tumbled glass distress inks.

 In the background, you'll notice the bubbles...I sprayed some clear texture spray, called Goosebumps.  I masked the image so I won't get any on her.  Love the way it came out and it dries in matter of minutes.   

 I took my Copics and dotted them in clusters to look like flowers.  It looks like she's kneeling in a field of flowers. Ü

Hello everyone!  Happy August 1st....can't believe how fast July just flew by!  Speaking of time flying by, it's time for another challenge at Card Cupids.  The theme for is "birthday or any shade of blue".  Our Sponsor is Fresh Brewed Designs.  We hope you'll join us and play along! 

For my card, I used one of my favorite dies from MFT.  I love using the fishtail banner dies!  The background pattern paper is from Daisy D...it's an older design.  I love the color palette of green and pink.  And that's the main colors I used for this card.  I thought she needed an accessory and so, I added half back pearls for a necklace.

DT: Card Cupids

This is my first DT challenge for Card Cupids...I love this image from The Stamping Boutique.  Cupcakes are my favorite!  This week's challenge is using ribbon, twine, or washi tape.  Hope you'll stop by and visit the other DT blogs. 

For this card, I used a pattern paper from my stash...it's quite old and don't know the manufacturer.  I love the soft colors and design.  I combined a couple of stamps together for the sentiment.  I added some glitter pen to the sprinkles.
