DT: Card Cupids

This is my first DT challenge for Card Cupids...I love this image from The Stamping Boutique.  Cupcakes are my favorite!  This week's challenge is using ribbon, twine, or washi tape.  Hope you'll stop by and visit the other DT blogs. 

For this card, I used a pattern paper from my stash...it's quite old and don't know the manufacturer.  I love the soft colors and design.  I combined a couple of stamps together for the sentiment.  I added some glitter pen to the sprinkles.

DT: Drunken Stampers

For this card, I used this older stamp set from Stampin' Up.  This week's challenge has to do with travel, modes of transportation...."on the road again".  I typed the sentiment on my computer...great when you want a specific sentiment.

DT: Unscripted Sketches

Hi everyone!  I have a card to share with you for Unscripted Sketch.  This sketch has so many possibilities!   Here's my take...

 I embossed the background with a frame texture plate and dotted some liquid pearl around it. And of course I used some of my favorites...flowers and some twine.

DT: Stamptacular Sunday

Hi there!  Fourth of July is just around the corner and this week's challenge: "Red, White, and Blue...and some sparkle".  Hope you'll join us at Stamptacular Sunday and play along.

I added some sparkle on her hair{center of the flower} and the dress using some Stickles.  I decided to use  paper from my stash...this pattern paper is pretty old, but goes perfectly with this week's challenge.

CAS Card

I have a bin full of paper scraps just waiting to be used...that day is here!  As you can see, I didn't use a whole lot.  But I wanted to share what you can do with your left over strips.  Simply rolled the strips and as they uncurl, I adhered them with my glue gun.  The top layer is taped with foam tape to the base of the card.  The center is cut out using Stampin' Up's Framelit dies.

This is a simple card using one of my favorite sentiment.  This stamp comes from an older set...unfortunately, I don't know the manufacturer of this stamp set.  I took my white seam binding ribbon and dyed it with some water and distress stain. The whole front panel is adhered with foam tape.

I've added lots of details and embellies on this card...love the way it turned out.   I used a heavier pattern paper as the base  and used the scraps for matting.  This is the reverse side of the pattern paper.  I added some Stickles to her wings and glitter gel pen to the little hearts.  I love the intricate design on the corner filigree die.

DT: Unscripted Sketches

I haven't used vellum in so long...there's a stack just waiting to be used.  Well, this week's sketch from Unscripted Sketches gave me the opportunity to use them. 

This is a simple card using an image I just got...it was fun coloring her.  I paper pieced the dress from the pattern paper.  The corner dies are also new-love the design on them.

DT: Drunken Stampers

Hope everyone had a great week...welcome back to another challenge on Drunken Stampers.  This week, it's a color challenge.  Here's my card:

I think Bea is adorable...love the strawberry hat!  I stamped along the edge of the die cut with a flourish stamp using the same color as the background.  I also added some color to the strawberry border. To finish the card, I rounded the two corners with my favorite corner punch.

DT: Unscripted Sketches

Today's card, I used a stamp set from Verve.  I paper pierced the top and bottom of the card with my Tim Holtz ruler.  The scallop tag is layered with pattern paper.  All the papers are edged with distress ink.  I added some leaves from the stamp set, stamped with Lucky Limeade and adhered with foam tape.  The ribbons are attached with mini staples.  I love these staples!

I took some alcohol inks and dabbed them onto some glossy paper.  Then stamped the image with black Stazon ink and mat it with black cardstock.  The white carnation was inked with distress inks and then I sprayed it with water to "bleed" the colors together.

My creative mojo has been flowing like crazy lately!  I think it's my new craft space that inspires me... I love it! I have so much more space and extra cabinet space...time to fill it up with more scrappy goodies! LOL

DT: Drunken Stampers

I made this fun card...using triangles.  That is the challenge at Drunken Stampers this week.  I found this tutorial-for my card I used three 5" square cardstock.  I inked all the edges with frayed burlap distress ink and also misted the pattern paper with glimmer mist.   

I made a stick pin and attached a mini ticket and seam binding ribbon.  To the image, I added glitter pen to the hearts.  The oval is inked with frayed burlap.

This is a floral spray I made...similar to this one, but with different colors.

 

Added half back pearl to the Fancystix flower{Nursery Tales} and leaf to the felt blossom.
