Mojo Monday 405: It's A Boy!

Happy Sunday!  I've made a baby card using another Mojo Monday sketch.  This card is for some friends of ours.  They finally had a baby boy after having two adorable girls.  We are so happy for them and can't wait to meet Little Ethan!

Here's the sketch:

Here is my take on this week's sketch:

This is a paper collection from DCWV that I've had for a while.  I love the colors and patterns-great for both feminine and masculine cards.  The card base is a 110lb white cardstock I got from Micheal's.  The sticker is from a left over sticker pack.  I used one of my older border punch for the front and the inside of the card.

Supplies~
paper: The Linen Closet Stack & Cardstock Matstack {DCWV}
stamp: Verve
dies/punches: bracket border punch{EK Success}; Lacey Circles{Spellbinders}

Thank You

This month I'm sending a lot of "thank you" cards for all the holiday gifts we received....I know that it's a bit late, but I feel that it's better to be late than not sending it at all.  So, here's a card I made using an older pattern paper from my stash and this week's Mojo Monday sketch:

The card is pretty simple-the heart is adhered with foam tape to give it some lift from the button.  I embossed the image with gold embossing powder and used the same image around the sentiment.
other challenges:
The Play Date Cafeburgundy, gold, plum
Sweet Stampin' ~ all that glitters
Catered Crop ~ button
Supplies~
pp: Sandy Lion{Red Damask}; DeNami{Gold}; Bazzill{plum tree}
stamps/inks: SU{fresh vintage, teeny tiny wishes/eggplant eny, baroque burgundy}
dies/punches: MS{vintage floral}; Spellbinders{circle, scallop circle}; McGill{file tab punch}
misc: Recollection{glitter heart}, my stash{button}, embossing powder{honey}

Thinking of You

I made this card for one of my 31 Day Challenge: used something new that I purchased over the holidays-the zig zap sew ribbon punch by We R Memory Keepers.  I had fun using this punch and it's super easy to use! The embossed image is from a 12x12 paper and used my circle die to cut it out as the focal image.

 For the frayed ribbon, I simply trimmed the edges and pulled some fibers off each side.
Challenges:
Mojo Monday ~ sketch #222
Crazy 4 Challenges ~ something new

Supplies~
dp: Pink Paislee{paislee postcards}; Quick Quotes{Oh Lovely}; K & Company{Heritage Ivory Embossed paper}
dies: Spellbinders{large circles, fancy tags}; We R Memory Keepers{zig zag sew ribbon punch}; MS{cornice border punch}
stamp: Verve{sentiment}

misc: bling, ivory satin ribbon

Wedding Card

I combined two challenges to make this six inch card: a sketch{see above} & a color combo challenge-black, white, and a splash of red {The Play Date Cafe}.  The sentiment was first stamped onto white cardstock and then embossed with the embossing folder.  I love the doily flower die...so cute!  I used a similar eyelet border punch for the inside of the card.  Can't wait to give this to my cousin on his wedding day....

Mojo Monday 201

Another Mojo sketch...I needed a quick card for a niece's high school graduation. I also used last week's color challenge from Utah Divas International:

I don't know where I got the idea of the owl, I wish I could give credit where it's due...because it's so cute!
All the supplies are Stampin Up...except the scallop die {Spellbinders} again.  It seems like I have to use Spellbinders in all my projects. I ♥ Spellbinders ! LOL

Mojo Monday 155

This is a birthday card I made for our uncle using this week's sketch:

Details: Each piece of the DP was inked with Vintage Photo and adhered to Bazzill CS.  For the center of the card, I first used the embossing folder and then cut it with the Spellbinder die.  I brushed the distress ink directly unto the embossed area for some color. I also inked around the scalloped edge. On the small tag, I inked the images and inked around the edge with the distress ink.
Supplies~
cs: gray (Bazzill); Very Vanilla (SU)
dp: Elegant Soiree (SU)
ink: Vintage Photo (TH's Distress Ink); black (Stazon)

stamps: PSX
misc: embossing folder (Cuttlebug's Happy Birthday); die (Spellbinder's Lacey Circles); tag (Making Memories); ribbon (unknown ); eyelet (Joann's brand)
