Mojo Monday #97

This is my Mojo for the week....the penguin is a cutie, isn't he? I just got this stamp set recently...had fun making this one. A quick shout out to my hubby and my MIL. Happy Birthday!

Details-I stamped the image on white cs and dabbed the background with light green ink. For coloring, I used Copics markers. I cut out the balloon and used pop-up dot to give it that 3-D effect. The circle and scalloped circle are edged with Vintage Distresses Ink. And finally, I added some Stickle to the top of the birthday hat and horn.

Happy Birthday Card

This is a card I made for my cousin's little boy who turned 5 on June 4th. The robot stickers I got from Michael's. They come in a small packet for less than a dollar. Quick and easy for that last minute card.

2 Sketches 4 You

This is the 1st Annual Card Showdown in celebration of their first year anniversary. 30 finalists will be picked to continue to the next round. This has been a fun challenge...can't wait to see the lucky finalists!

This is my first 2 Sketches 4 You challenge and I gotta say...it's been super fun!! A little piece about my card-this is a stamp I just got and thought it would be super cute to make. I personally love bubble baths so when I saw the stamp, I had to get it! ♥

Details: to give the image the 3-D effect, I taped the bubbles with foam tape. I colored the bubbles with mica powder (pearl green) to give it some shimmer.

Mojo Monday #89

Here's my take on this week's Mojo. I just love this quote & it's perfect for spring...plus my hydrangeas are blooming, so I had to use the pink and blue flowers!!

Details- I first stamped with a flourish stamp in white ink and then sprayed glimmer mist to give it some shimmer. The trail that goes to the butterfly, I dotted with liquid pearl. I embossed the bottom pp with Cuttlebug template. The pink flower was originally white, I colored it with some ink.
