Merry Christmas

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas!!  This year's a disappointing one because I'm home with a cold. Boo!  My hubby & I go up near Stockton, CA to spend Christmas with his family every year.  Since we're both sick, it was best to stay home and not get everyone else sick.  But I wanted to share the Christmas card I mailed out this year.....

Holly4Christmas

Joy2Christmas

Details: The cardstock is from an assortment of Christmas colors from  DCWV, Box of Cards. The pattern paper is also from DCWV.  For the stamped image, I first cut out the circle using the Spellbinders circle die.  And then stamped with onyx black ink.  Then distressed with Tim Holtz distressing inks.  To give the snowman some interest, I glued red flock to the hat and adhered it with foam tape.  The bottom part of the snow globe was embossed with silver embossing powder on black cardstock.

Mojo Monday 155

This is a birthday card I made for our uncle using this week's sketch:

I also inked around the scalloped edge. On the small tag, I inked the images and inked around the edge with the distress ink.

ink: Vintage Photo (TH's Distress Ink); black (Stazon)

stamps: PSX
misc: embossing folder (Cuttlebug's Happy Birthday); die (Spellbinder's Lacey Circles); tag (Making Memories); ribbon (unknown ); eyelet (Joann's brand)
