Ok, so I've been busy joining swaps this month at Life on the Scrap Beach. I wanted to get my creative juices flowing because I've had this HUGE mental block for weeks! I think it's from being sick over the holidays; I'm finally able to speak without coughing nonstop.
With that being said.....this is my first tag I've ever created using the #8 tag measurements{
6 1/4 x 4 1/8}
from manilla folders. Each person from the group was assigned a color and an element. I was given the color
green & charm(s) or dangle charm. And this is what I came up with.....
Details:
I love doing the emboss resist technique when I'm not using pattern paper. The background stamp is one of my favorites from Prima. The edges have been distressed and inked. The challenge/theme is "The Woman of 2011"...key words are compassionate, savvy, beautiful, timeless, nurturing, loving, courageous, etc. And I love this sentiment! The flowers were misted with Lindy's Stamp Gang Shadow Mist. I hand cut the girl out from a Hero Arts stamp.
