This is a gate fold card I made using the paper collection, flea market {Colorbok}. To make the gate fold, take a 4
1/4 x 8
1/2 cs and score at 2
1/8 and 6
3/8. I embossed the birdcage and sentiment with embossing powder from
Lindy's Stamp Gang...love their products!! The fabric flower was made with baja breeze seam binding and victoria crochet trim. I backed it with pearl trim and skeleton leaf. I love the way it turned out...since it's my first time making it. Here's a close up:
The inside sentiment is a clear sticker from the paper collection, layered with cs that I embossed and used a border punch. Since the pattern paper is one sided, I cut the Spellbinder die twice and adhere them back to back. That way, you see the pattern paper and not just plain white cs. All the edges were distressed with vintage photo and sprayed with mist from Lindy's.
