Today's card, I made this simple card using this bow die from Lil' Inker Designs.  This die is now one I can't do without....I love the stitched detail.  Here's my card:

This stamp is an oldie, but a goodie....I love this landscape. For the photo inspiration at Stamptacular Sunday, I immediately thought of this image.  You can see why, right? Ü

I took some alcohol inks and dabbed them onto some glossy paper.  Then stamped the image with black Stazon ink and mat it with black cardstock.  The white carnation was inked with distress inks and then I sprayed it with water to "bleed" the colors together.

DT: Unscripted Sketches

My creative mojo has been flowing like crazy lately!  I think it's my new craft space that inspires me... I love it! I have so much more space and extra cabinet space...time to fill it up with more scrappy goodies! LOL
And for this week's sketch, the stamped image is from My Favorite Things. I paper pieced her dress with foam tape.  And the front panel is adhered down with some more foam tape...this card is loaded with dimension! Ü

DT: Drunken Stampers

I made this fun card...using triangles.  That is the challenge at Drunken Stampers this week.  I found this tutorial-for my card I used three 5" square cardstock.  I inked all the edges with frayed burlap distress ink and also misted the pattern paper with glimmer mist.   

I made a stick pin and attached a mini ticket and seam binding ribbon.  To the image, I added glitter pen to the hearts.  The oval is inked with frayed burlap.

This is a floral spray I made...similar to this one, but with different colors.

 

Added half back pearl to the Fancystix flower{Nursery Tales} and leaf to the felt blossom.

MFT Challenge - Miss You

When I got this paper stack from My Mind's Eye, knew I wanted to use the birdcage from MFT.  The back part of the cage, I simply traced the die and hand cut it out.  Then adhered the two with foam tape for more dimension.  I also used foam tape for the bird.  All the pattern papers come from the same collection.  I just love double-sided paper! Ü  Lately, I've been using heavy cardstock paper from Strathmore for the card base.  For the sentiment, I curved the clear stamp to line up with the shape of the pennant.  This is why I love using clear stamps.  Finished off the card with my favorite corner chomper!
