DT: Unscripted Sketches~Glad Tidings card

Hi everyone!  Here's another fabulous sketch challenge from Unscripted Sketches....
Here's another card I made using the Botanical Noel paper stack.  Normally, I'm not drawn to this type of Christmas design.  But this paper stack kinda grew on me.  This design has the perfect space for a sentiment and all I did was added a die cut and just a few embellishments....voilà!  My card is complete!

Supplies~
paper: Botanical Noel{Recollection}
sentiment: Instant Camera Christmas stamp set{Lil' Inker Designs}
tools: holly vine die{Memory Box}; scalloped edge border punch{SU}

DT: Stamptacular Sunday~hoppy Christmas card

Happy Sunday....hope everyone enjoyed the first day of December.  We had a great time getting our Christmas tree.  It was a day I'll never forget because we had a bad rain storm....soaking wet!  They said it was one of the worst storms so far.  But everyone had a wonderful time.  I can't wait to journal that day in my DD. Ü

Now, on to this week's challenge at Stamptacular Sunday.  We have a photo challenge for you...

For my card, I used a digi image from Birdie Brown.  This Santa and reindeer is so cute!  I used Liquid Applique in white on his beard and hat.  I love the texture and dimension....plus, it's fun to watch it puff up when heated.  My favorite tool are my dies...love the intricate detail on this die from Memory Box.

Supplies~

DT: Red Carpet Studio~vacation layout

 Hi there!  We have another layout challenge at Red Carpet Studio....create a travel layout.
Sponsor: Freckled Fawn

prize: $10 gift certificate

I did a layout on our Cabo trip last year.  We took my in-laws on a mini vacation....had a great time.  We relaxed by the pool and just hung out at the resort.  The resort was all-inclusive, so we ate and drank...alot.  Well, at least my hubby and I did. Ü   You can tell how much sun I got in the photo...pretty pink.
On the layout, I traced half a circle using a pot...gotta use what I have available. lol
I layered it with my Lucky 8 punch, Classic Wreath{using just the outer cut}.  Also used some of My Favorite Things Die-namics.
Supplies~
paper: Charming paper collection{Recollection}
tools: Classic Wreath Lucky 8 border punch{We R Memory Keepers}; fishtail banner, page banner{MFT}; swirling lace border punch {MS}; instant camera die{Lil' Inker Design}; blue ribbon punch{Fiskar}

DT: Card Cupids Challenge~Bugaboo "cool" cards

Here's another challenge from Sunshine Mail Foundation Challenge{aka Card Cupids}.  They changed the name to Sunshine Mail in November, celebrating their second year anniversary.  Click HERE to read the post.
So for Dec 1st challenge, the theme is "cool".   Hope you'll play along for a chance to win images our sponsor Bugaboo

I couldn't choose which image to use so I made two cards...
For the first card, I layered the base with design paper and from the matching die-cut mat pad.  I love the patterns and fun colors.  The soft blue and pink is one of my favorite combos for Christmas.  The sentiment is stamped with charming oval dies.  On the image, I added some liquid pearls and glitter glue on the cap.

I love the image for my second card.  He's a cute snowman!  I added some star die cuts to match the design paper.  The sentiment is punched out using the word window punch.

Supplies~
paper: Mod Holiday{K&Company}, die-cut mat pad
images: little penguin winter, snowman skates{Bugaboo}
sentiments from A Muse Artstamps
tools: classic ovals, standard circles{Spellbinders}; stacking stars die-namics{MFT}; charming banner{Verve}; word window punch{SU}

DT: Unscripted Sketches~

Happy December 1st!  Today, we are going to pick out our Christmas tree.  I'm so excited because not only will we pick out the tree, but we'll also cut it down.  I have my camera ready to document the event and can't wait to show you.  This will be a great Day 1 in my DD entry!

Now, let's get to our next sketch challenge from Unscripted Sketches....we had some wonderful entries for the last sketch.  I can't wait to see this week's creations!

I made this CAS card using the mat stack, Botanical Noel.  For the sentiment, I die cut the shape using gold shimmer paper from my paper stash.  The center design paper was also layered with the gold paper.  I love the shape of the poinsettia...this is one of my favorite dies.  This can also be used as leaves on a flower.

Supplies~
paper: Botanical Noel{Recollection}; gold shimmer paper{Denami Design}
stamp: Instant Camera:Christmas stamp set{Lil' Inker Designs}
tools: poinsettia die{Magnolia Doohickey dies}; floral oval{Spellbinders}
misc: cinnamon brads{Lasting Impressions}
